Marine workshop management software

Simplify boat servicing and marine repair management, with each boat’s engine hours, maintenance history and job records in one place.

Boats are kept like any vehicle in RobotRoo: the boat’s rego, its hull ID, the engine’s number and hours, and every job done on it.

Questions

Is there a boat type?

Not as such. Boats are kept as vehicles, with a record each. The body type list is for road vehicles (Sedan to Bus, and Other), so choose Other or leave it empty.

Can RobotRoo record engine hours?

Yes. Each boat has an hours reading, and its service interval can be written in hours, like 100 hours or 12 months. The next service itself is set by date.

What if a boat has two engines?

There is one engine number field. Put the second engine’s details in the boat’s notes.

Does every boat need a rego?

Every record needs something in Rego. No. Use the boat’s rego, or your own number for it if it has none.
